Thankful!

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." *Psalm 107:1

What a great God we serve! No matter what happens in this world, God's love will reign forever! This Thanksgiving we are so thankful for all of our friends and family that have supported us and continue to support us financially and through their prayers. Although we have "reached" our support goal and are back working with the ministry on campus, we know that without the continued support and prayers from all of you -- our ministry will fail.

This kind of sacrificial support is best exemplified in Jesus Christ, but another story in the Old Testament reminds me of the importance of having Christian friends to support you. "So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up--one on one side, one on the other--so that his hands remained steady"

What a wonderful story! When Moses' arms grew tired, his friends were there to support him. Similarly, this holiday we are so thankful for our students, friends and family that continually encourage us and stengthen us during the good times and hard times of life. We love you!!
